My second day at the school store was more easier then my first day

because I was more familiar with everything.

The skill I think im using most is my listening skills im always focusing on what the customer wants. I can multitask very well to be able to help more then one customer at a time.

On my second day I learned more then what I practiced on my first day. the more

I do something the better I become at it so the second day

went by with flying colors. Things have became better, never worse I always know what im

doing and how to do it. I never lose concentration on my job primarely my customers

my only option so I tend not to let things distract me. This is my first working expeiernce so i wouldn't know how other stores operate but this one is good beginner expeirence.

Dear, Journal

My first days running the store have been very nervous,

I had no type of job experience so this would be the closest

and first thing I have ever worked at. At first I was nervous

about working there thinking I would mess up, I was anxious

to work there because I know I would make mistakes and

those are embarressing to me. In this class I play two different

roles, either I am on the register or I get the food that the students

ask for. I think I was prepared I always prep myself for anything

that im not familiar with. When I am on the register I depend on

my friends to gather the food the minute I give the order of

what my customer wants, the same as me when im the gatherer,

and there the orderers they depend on me of the same

situation. When I firt started I stood there waiting for the customer

to order what they want and once they said I was ready to get it, so

when I was focused I was ready on the spot right when they got they change

food in hand, so that went well. At first I was told to get something unfamiliar to me

I was confused, didn't know where it was or what kind so it took me a long while

so I was embarressed to have had my customer waiting, so that didn't go very well.

I would reccommend changeing the varieties of food because most isn't really bought and its a waste of money. I would have a survey on what kids eat for breakfast and lunch to better benefit there eating and the school stores income. The customers are kind, some with manners, some with not, who don't know there thank you's and welcomes. But some are very impatient, and wait instead of having a rushing expression on their faces. I think I am a good worker and fast one at it. I know how to greet my customers and persuade them into new things on the menu

and to be quick with their order.
